A: My style can be best described as "Easy Breezy Beautiful, Romantic, and Fun"! I have a passion for clean composition, capturing beautiful light, and making you look naturally gorgeous. While I'll be present to document everything, my aim is for you to hardly notice my presence. I strike a delicate balance between observing and capturing unfolding moments and taking advantage of magical light and situations.
Q: HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?
A: My calendar tends to fill up quickly, so it's advisable to book approximately 18 months in advance. If you have a shorter timeframe, please reach out to me via email to check availability. I would be delighted to hear from you. Please note that I am the only resident professional wedding photographer on Aitutaki.
Q: DO YOU DO VIDEO TOO?
A: No, I specialize solely in photography. By focusing solely on capturing beautiful photos, I can provide the highest quality of work and give my undivided attention to your wedding day. However, I can certainly provide recommendations for talented videographers who share a similar mindset.
Q: I REALLY WANT YOU TO STAY UNTIL THE END OF MY WEDDING. WILL YOU?
A: Absolutely! My packages include coverage from the end of your hair and makeup preparations through the last major event of the reception. If you require additional coverage beyond that, I am more than happy to accommodate your request.
Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE MY PHOTOS?
A: The processing of all the images typically takes 8-10 weeks. However, to provide you with a preview to enjoy, I will email you a selection of images within a day or two after the shoot. Please note that these images will be in low to medium resolutions due to internet speed considerations. Once all the images are finalized, I will upload them online and provide a link for you to download, and these are hi resolution quality.
Q: I DON’T PHOTOGRAPH WELL AND AM SUPER AWKWARD—CAN YOU HELP ME?
A: Certainly! I completely understand that not everyone is accustomed to being photographed, and I'm here to assist you. With my easy shooting style and natural posing guidance, I ensure that you look natural and lovely in your photos. If you need a little extra time to warm up, I create a comfortable and relaxed environment during the shoot. Trust me, it's a painless and fun experience, and it won't be as daunting as you might think.
Q: CAN YOU TRAVEL?
A: Yes, my services are available in both Aitutaki and Rarotonga, as well as internationally. Travel arrangements can be made, and specific terms and conditions will apply.
Q: DO WE PROOF OUR WEDDING IMAGES?
A: Due to our limited schedule in Aitutaki, I regret to inform you that we do not provide proofing services. Rest assured, your images will be carefully handpicked by us based on the package you've chosen.
Q: DO YOU PROVIDE PRINTINGS?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer printing services. However, all our packages include electronic images that you can print at your convenience.
Q: HOW WILL WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?
A: To secure your wedding date, we require a signed contract and a retainer payment. Once we receive these, your date will be fully reserved, and we will cease marketing it to other clients. The balance payment will be due at least 3 months prior to the wedding date. We accept payments through our Australian, New Zealand, and Cook Islands bank accounts. Please note that a full payment deposit is required for specials or tailor-made packages as soon as possible, and it is non-refundable if canceled by the client. If your wedding is within 3 months of the booking date, we require a full payment immediately. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel, a full refund will be provided. Additionally, if circumstances beyond our control, such as a cyclone, arise, we are happy to transfer or postpone your wedding day to a suitable date.
Q: DO YOU HAVE CONTRACT FORMS FOR US TO SIGN?
A: Yes, we do have contract forms available. We will send them to you prior to confirming payment so that you can review and understand the terms before signing the agreement.
Q: WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES AND PACKAGES?
A: I would love to discuss rates with you! If I am available on your date, I will be more than happy to email you my rates for your location. We can also have a conversation about creating a custom package that perfectly suits your wedding needs.
Q: DO YOU DO HAIR AND MAKEUP?
A: Yes, we offer hair and makeup services, and they are included in some of our packages. We have some great deals available for you.
Q: WHAT IS AN OFF-SITE PHOTOSHOOT?
A: An off-site photoshoot option allows us to take you to stunning locations around the island, such as the limestone houses and other beautiful scenes. These locations will provide exceptional backdrops and add a unique touch to your photo album.
